death centromatic for kweller

Went to the Ben Kweller, Death Cab for Cutie, and Centromatic concert last night. I had so much fun! I especially enjoyed Death Cab. They're awesome and I really like the lead singer's voice. Their lyrics are very intelligent at times and very mindless and sing-along-able at others. It was fun to go out on a "school night." Centromatic reminded me of the country-sounding part of Wilco; they wore trucker hats and undershirts and had that trendy white trash look that is so popular these days. Ben Kweller had gobs of energy and was really fun to watch. A few of his solo songs are really beautiful. He's such a frat boy, as my husband says. All in all, was a pretty nice day. I always enjoy a good concert with good friends.
