ICU. That's right folks. My daughter was in the pediatric ICU (intensive care unit) at Children's Hospital of Austin last week. My SIX WEEK OLD daughter! What the heck is going on? Remember that promise from God about not being given more than we can handle? I'm feeling a little overwhelmed right now. Please tell me, will I question the existence of God more often now that I have a child, cause it sure feels that way. She has whooping cough (also called pertussis), as do I. We are a miserable pair of coughy girls. I honestly don't know what lesson I'm supposed to be learning. Could someone help me out?
