Public television and public transportation -- two things I'm thankful for.
My spouse and my daughter are watching a special on PBS about the Croatian forest and the wolves reclaiming their home. Free television, folks. There are no annoying fat men with stupid hot skinny women on this show. Just baby wolves and salamanders with no eyes.
A coworker was complaining about a horrible public bus experience and I was empathetic, but I'm thankful that most of my transportation dilemmas have been solved by the Capital Metro bus system in Austin, slow and stinky as it may be. I once boarded the bus on Congress behind Austin's famous homeless icon, Leslie. His miniskirt didn't hide much.
